What is more or less what i have been doing for the past couple of months since the gala.
Two weeks of running around can really take it out of you. For the punters it started on the first Saturday, when in reality it started the weekend before hand as engines started to arrive.

Strictly speaking the gala was a complete success but to those who attended and enjoyed it i'm afraid that there won't be another till Corwen is complete.
Corwen is the next station on the Llangollen Railway and the railway is extending to meet it. Unfortunately the railway won't get to Corwen for at least another three years and it'll be another year after that before the station is up. So it could be some time which is good because it will mean we can make some progress on Betton Grange.

In other news 5199 will soon be off to the Churnet Valley Railway and everything else should keep on rolling along.
